David Pierce was raised primarily in Florida before moving to the Bay Area in 2008. Abstract, macro, nature, and, especially, modern-day ruins are his favorite subjects for his digital and film photography. He is most inspired when he is able to capture overlooked objects or hidden beauty. Though his favorite place is behind the camera, he is also at home behind a drum set or in the kitchen.
